We're currently interviewing for a full time First Officer position now open on our Lear 60 (LR-60) aircraft based in Miami, Florida (OPF). This aircraft is operated under Part 135 as well as Part 91. This aircraft is a 2004 aircraft with recent paint, newly refurbished interior and always maintained in accordance with all manufacturer's inspections requirements. This aircraft will be operated and turn-key managed by Fair Wind Air Charter, the largest charter management company in the Southern US. Second in command - reports directly to the Pilot in Command in charge. The Second in Command assists the Pilot in Command in safely and efficiently operating company aircraft while in compliance with all applicable regulations, rules, directives, company procedures and aircraft flight manuals. He/She is responsible to the Pilot in Command of the flight for the conduct and safe execution of assigned duties. He must be knowledge of the company manual, federal regulations, operations specifications, aircraft flight manuals and other instructions pertinent to his duties. The Second in Command is in training to become a Pilot in Command and may be advanced when the prescribed minimums are met. The Second in Command performs additional company duties as assigned.
